From WeAreTheCity’s Future Leader’s Blog
What are your plans for today?
How can you make it different to yesterday?
What work opportunities are there for you to do something different, to learn something new today?
You could start doing one small thing differently, those small things add up. Go on make the change…
Don’t let today become a pale copy of yesterday
It’s easy to fall into habits – and there’s nothing wrong with that – we need habits to become efficient and profficient. But, and there is a BIG but here, don’t get complacent, don’t get too comfortable. What little thing can you do differently today? What step can you take that pushes that boundary of your comfort zone? Try out a new behaviour, be more open than you have been before , dare to share more.
There is a difference between five years experience and having the same year’s experience five times, isn’t there? Which would you rather have?
Do something each day to futureproof your leadership.
Push yourself to do something new, dare to step out of familiar habits, give yourself that regular opportunity for development.
Do something today that you will thank yourself for in the future
The future is around the corner and things change at great speed. Grow, develop and be curious about what you can learn today. The greatest leader of the future will be those that rise up and meet the needs of the future. Are you ready?
