Don’t you just love a great summer read!

A book is a gift you can open again and again

Garrison Keillor

One of those books you can just disappear into while forgetting everything else for a moment? One of those books that opens your mind to new insights and experiences? One of those books that you find yourself talking to others about?

For one of us, last summer, that book was “Factfulness” by Hans Rosling. Thought-provoking, hope inducing and enlightening. It was actually Bill Gates listing it as one of his best reads of the year that made us look it up – and we’re happy we did!

Books are a uniquely portable magic

Stephen King

Maybe you are about to have some time off and will be able to relax and disappear into a great book?

Or maybe you are working through the summer, but look forward to leisurely weekends in the park or by the beach?

A house without books is like a room without windows

Heinrich Mann

Wherever you are, whatever you do, a book or two may well be on the agenda, right?

So, what will it be for you? What are your book recommendations? We’d love to hear!

You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me

C.S. Lewis
